British soprano Susanna Hurrell is highly regarded as one of the most versatile singers of her generation, garnering critical praise for her clear, pure tone and warm stage presence.

Recent highlights include Gretel Hansel and Gretel for English National Opera / Regent’s Park, Rosalinde Die Fledermaus for Opera Holland Park, Anne Trulove The Rake’s Progress for Opera Glassworks, Mélisande Pelleas et Mélisande for Norwegian National Opera and Aldimira in Cavalli’s Erismena for the Aix-en-Provence festival. She also sang a critically acclaimed Lauretta Gianni Schicchi and subsequently Micaëla Carmen at the Royal Opera House, and created the title role in Ravi Shankar’s Sukanya with the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
