Shafali Jalota

British-American soprano Shafali Jalota has been praised for her "stunning vocal technique and poised stage presence" (Opera Today). She is a prizewinner in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, the Camille Coloratura Awards, the Bel Canto Vocal Scholarship Competition, and a finalist in the Bampton Classical Opera Competition. She has performed internationally with companies including the Royal Opera House, Glyndebourne, Opera Neo, and Hampstead Garden Opera. Shafali is currently in her second season at Glyndebourne as a member of the chorus and covering Zerlina in Don Giovanni. Her roles include Susanna, Le nozze di Figaro (Hampstead Garden Opera, Amalfi Coast Summer Music & Arts Festival); Romilda, Serse (Opera Neo); Suor Genovieffa, Suor Angelica (Random Opera Company, Halifax Summer Opera Festival); and Rose Maurrant, Street Scene (Maryland Opera Studio).
