Sarah Winn
Mezzo-soprano Sarah Winn was a Young Artist at the National Opera Studio for 2024/25. She studied at the Royal Northern College of Music as a Leverhulme Scholar, earning her Master of Music with distinction under the tutelage of Hilary Summers. Her performed roles include the Composer in Ariadne auf Naxos, Béatrice in Béatrice et Bénédict, Julia Bertram in Mansfield Park, and Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus. She most recently performed the role of Ino in Semele with Waterperry Opera Festival. Sarah is also an experienced oratorio soloist, with repertoire including Elgar’s The Music Makers and Coronation Ode, Mahler’s Symphony No. 3, Handel’s Messiah, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9.
