Born in Sydney, Russell Harcourt was a finalist at the 2012 Kathleen Ferrier Awards. He studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and at RAM, and is an Associate Artist of the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme at the Royal Opera. He made his debut as Oberon A Midsummer Night’s Dream with the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Last season included Corrado in Vivaldi's Griselda for Pinchgut Opera in Sydney. He has covered for Opera Australia, ON and Garsington. He recently sang Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater with Australian Ballet and plans include Messiah in Wellington, NZ.
