Robert Lewis

Welsh tenor Robert Lewis is a recent graduate of the Guildhall School, where he studied with Adrian Thompson. In 2019 Robert made his role debut as Nemorino in L’Elisir D’Amore for Iford Arts. Highlights on the concert platform include Mendelssohn’s Elijah at the Berlin Philharmonie and the world premiere of Rebecca Dale’s Materna Requiem with Welsh National Opera at the North Wales International Music Festival. In Summer 2021 Robert joined Glyndebourne Festival Opera as a Jerwood Young Artist and he performed the role of Chodec in Kata Kabanova. For Glyndebourne Touring Opera he has recently performed First Prisoner and covered Jaquino in Beethoven’s Fidelio.
