Ric Mountjoy
Ric designs lighting for Theatre and Opera; his work has been seen around the world from Singapore to Seattle, Dubai to Dhaka, in London and New York.
Recent designs include The Play that Goes Wrong (Broadway / West End); Father by Akram Khan (Dhaka, Bangladesh); Uncle Vanya (Clwyd and Sheffield); Darbar Festival (Sadler’s Wells Theatre); Emancipation of Expressionism (Barbican Theatre & BBC TV); Mr Popper’s Penguins (Seattle, Minneapolis & New York). As Associate LD: War Requiem (Liceu, Barcelona), The Magic Flute (London Coliseum).
Ric worked for many years at English National Opera, and before that for Birmingham Royal Ballet.
