Paul Higgins

Paul was founding artistic director of the award-winning Theatre 503 in London. As director plays include Futures, Talkin’ Loud and Breathing (Theatre 503), So Close To Home (Arcola Theatre & Brighton Festival), A Doll’s House(NTS) and as Associate Director and assistant, productions in the West End, Chichester Festival Theatre and RSC. Paul worked as an assistant director in films, including The Madness of King George, Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace and Enigma. In opera he has worked as revival director and assistant at ROH, ENO and Glyndebourne and directed Carmen for Dorset Opera. Plans include reviving Don Carlo (ROH), L’elisir d’amore (Glyndebourne) and directing Barbiere di Silviglia (Diva Opera) and Madama Butterfly (OHP).
