Nazan Fikret

Nazan Fikret is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, a former Britten Pears Young Artist and International Opera Awards bursary recipient. Appearances include Queen of the Night Die Zauberflöte (Glyndebourne, Opera på Skäret, Garsington Opera); Queen of the Night AbracadOpera! (English National Opera/SkyTV); Blonde The Abduction from the Seraglio (English Touring Opera); Arasse Siroe (Nederlandse Reisopera); Fiordiligi Così fan tutte (European Opera Centre/RLPO); soprano soloist 8bit Digital Series, Girl/Bear How the Whale Became (Royal Opera House); Euridice Orfeo ed Euridice (Longborough Festival Opera); and the title role in Theodora with Christian Curnyn and Sarah Connolly (Britten Pears). As a teenager she performed Flora The Turn of the Screw across Europe, including David McVicar’s production at ENO and Teatro Real. Future engagements include her debut with Welsh National Opera as First Lady The Magic Flute.
