Welsh mezzo-soprano Morgana Warren-Jones is a winner of the prestigious Frederic Cox Award for Singing, the Kennedy Strauss Award, and the William’s Howard Award competitions at the RNCM where she recently completed her postgraduate studies. Her operatic roles include Marcellina Le nozze di Figaro, Madame Flora The Medium, Fanny Price Mansfield Park (RNCM), and Vava Cherry Town Moscow (WNO Youth Company). A keen interpreter of art song, she recently performed recitals for Leeds Lieder and the Buxton International Festival. Enthusiastic about making music available and accessible to all, Morgana conducts a community choir and leads workshops for Welsh National Opera.
