Matthew Kellett

London-born baritone Matthew Kellett is graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music & Trinity College of Music, where he was awarded the TCM Trust’s Silver Medal for vocal studies.

Among his recent performances, Matthew has appeared as Jack Point in The Yeomen of the Guard and Robin Oakapple in Ruddigore, both for Opera Holland Park, and Njegus in The Merry Widow for Scottish Opera. He is a regular performer with Charles Court Opera, where his roles have included Papageno in The Magic Flute, Bartolo in The Barber of Seville & KoKo in The Mikado among many others. He has also toured extensively with The National Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company, playing roles including The Lord Chancellor Iolanthe, Dick Deadeye HMS Pinafore & The Pirate King The Pirates of Penzance. Matthew’s appearances with other companies include English National Opera, Wexford Festival Opera & Blackheath Halls Opera.
