Matt Hutchinson is a designer, director and theatre maker for puppetry and object led performance.

His work as a puppet maker/fabricator and puppeteer includes theatre, television, advertising, charity campaigns, live events and music concerts, scientific research and medical training, and the London 2012 Olympic Ceremonies.
In 2015 he was the inaugural recipient of the Sally Goldsworthy Bursary Award at Discover Children’s Story Centre, and in 2020 a finalist for the Jerwood Live Arts Fund. He is also an associate lecturer for the School of Performance at London College of Fashion.
