Lukasz Karauda

Polish baritone Lukasz Karauda trained at the Lodz Academy of Music, Poland before graduating with distinction from the MA Opera Performance course at the RWCMD in 2013. His opera highlights include the roles of Sciarrone and Jailer, with Bryn Terfel as Scarpia, in a special semi-staged performance of Tosca with the Orchestra and Chorus of WNO at the Wales Millennium Centre to celebrate Bryn Terfel’s 50th birthday, Zaretsky in Eugene Onegin for Grange Park Opera and Flora’s servant in La traviata for Glyndebourne’s 2014 Tour. Lukasz’s future engagements include Escamillo in a concert performance of Carmen at the 2016 Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod.
