Keel Watson’s roles with international houses include The King Aida (Bregenz), Fasolt Das Rheingold (Lisbon and Palermo) and Reinmar Tannhäuser (Athens).

He made his début for ROH as Bosun Billy Budd. Other UK engagements have included Caronte Orfeo (ENO), andZuniga Carmen (ON).

He performs regularly with Birmingham Opera Company, ETO and OHP, where his many roles have included Iago Otello, Don Pizarro Fidelio, Commendatore Don Giovanni,Don Pasquale, Tonio I pagliacci, and Raimondo Lucia di Lammermoor

He sang Second Armed Man in Kenneth Brannagh’s film of The Magic Flute and Harasta in the animated version of The Cunning Little Vixen.
