Since 12/13 Season, Julia Riley has been a principal artist at Zürich Opernhaus, where her roles included Charlotte in Calixto Bieto's Die Soldaten; Dinah Trouble in Tahiti; Second Niece Peter Grimes; Fidalma Il Matrimonio Segreto; and Zweite Dame Die Zauberflöte.

Other roles include Dorabella/Holland Park Opera, Nancy Albert Herring Opéra Comique/Opera de Rouen/Glyndebourne on Tour; Zweite Dame Die Zauberflöte/Toulouse, and Glyndebourne on Tour; Cherubino Le nozze di Figaro/GOT; Sesto/Clemenza do Tito, Donna Elvira and Giovanna Seymour Anna Bolena all for ETO.
