Jonah Halton is a graduate of the Opera Course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he studied with Amanda Roocroft.

In the current season performances include Don Sallust The Rose of Castille (Wexford Festival Opera) and Spoletta Tosca (ETO). Other appearances include Bob Evert/Kinch Itch (Opera Holland Park Young Artist), Garcia Le tragédie de Carmen (Wexford), Second Attendant A Full Moon in March (Royal Ballet & Opera), Don Pelagio La canterina (Buxton International Festival), and Pasek The Cunning Little Vixen (Rattle/London Symphony Orchestra). Roles covered include Frederic The Pirates of Penzance (ENO), Marco The Gondoliers (ETO), and Lensky Eugene Onegin (West Green House Opera).
