Jean-Kristof Bouton
Baritone Jean-Kristof Bouton was born in Canada. He is now based in London, after many years performing major roles with the National Opera Iasi in Romania, including Silvio I Pagliacci, Alfio Cavalleria Rusticana, Marcello La bohème, Belcore L’Elisird’Amore, Figaro Il Barbiere di Siviglia and Don Giovanni. He appears regularly across Europe in roles such as Escamillo Carmen (Nice, Paris and Seville), Valère Le medecin malgré lui (St Etienne) and Mercutio Roméo et Juliette (Toulon) and, most recently, has sung Moussol Si j’étais roi (Opéra de Toulon), Scarpia Tosca (Diva Opera) and Charlie inJake Heggie’s Three Decembers.
