Isabelle Atkinson

Soprano Isabelle Atkinson is a Royal College of Music and Royal Academy of Music scholar, earning a Distinction in her Master’s and a DipRAM for her outstanding final recital.

Recent highlights include joining English Touring Opera for their production of The Elixir of Love in which she covered and performed the role of Adina and co-created the role of Alex in Little Terror, a Learning & Participation production for Learning Disabled audiences. In the previous summer season she performed Ida Die Fledermaus for The Grange Festival with whom she’s previously covered Anne Truelove and Despina. She performed the world premiere of Ciphers by Greg Arrowsmith as Ariadne at the Tête à Tête Opera Festival and has worked with opera companies such as Grange Park Opera, Winterbourne Opera, and Hurn Court Opera, debuting as Musetta in La bohème. This spring, she returns to ETO as Fiametta in The Gondoliers.

Her concert repertoire spans from Bach to Orff, with performances at venues like Wigmore Hall and Cadogan Hall. Beyond music, Isabelle is a passionate ballet dancer, knitter, and frequently can be found climbing the bouldering walls of London.
