Emily Hodkinson

Nottingham-born mezzo-soprano Emily Hodkinson is a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where she was the recipient of a Sybil Tutton Opera Award, the Ena Mitchell Scholarship and the Ulrike Wilson Scholarship.
2024 saw her debut with The Hallé, and her debut at Glyndebourne as Sylviana in The Merry Widow. Other 2024 engagements include Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro for Saffron Opera, Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius for Nottingham Harmonic Choir, and Mahler’s Fourth Symphony for Kew Sinfonia.
When not singing, Emily can be found repairing watches and helping at the family pick-your-own farm!
