Edmund studied at the Royal Academy of Music and National Opera Studio supported by the Glyndebourne New Generation Programme and Peter and Helen Blumer.
Operatic roles have included Colline in La Boheme (Northern Ireland Opera), Demetrius in Britten’s Midsummer Night’s Dream (Nevill Holt), Bartolo in Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro and Zuniga in Carmen (Waterperry Opera Festival), Eddy in Turnage’s Greek (Arcola Theatre), and Lakai in Ariadne auf Naxos (Glyndebourne). He also created roles in the premieres of Oliver Leith’s Last Days (Royal Opera House Linbury Theatre and LA Philharmonic) and Bolton’s Litvinenko (Grange Park Opera).
