Liverpool born baritone Danny Shelvey made his debut as Marchese d’Obigny La Traviata at Glyndebourne. Other engagements include Maximilian Candide, Luiz The Gondoliers, Torero Ainadamar, Morales Carmen all for Scottish Opera, Baldr The Monstrous Child for Royal Ballet and Opera, Ozzie On The Town at Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, Oreste Iphigenie en Tauride for Blackheath Halls.

Danny champions contemporary LGBTQ+ works, developing and performing Alice with Ted Huffman and Phil Venables, Performing as a soloist in Faggots and Their Friends Between Revolutions at Southbank Centre, Muziekgebouw Amsterdam, Ruhrtrienalle Bochum and Park Avenue Armory New York and performing Fierce Love for Tete a Tete.
