Cicely Hé, a mezzo-soprano born in Nanjing, China, embarked on her singing journey at the age of 10. With dual master's degrees from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Soochow University, she has garnered accolades, including the first prize in the Peacock Award Vocal Competition and the second prize in the Hong Kong International Vocal Competition during her undergraduate years. Her versatility shines through roles such as Dido in "Dido and Aeneas," Cherubino in "Le Nozze di Figaro," Annio in "La Clemenza di Tito," and Isabella in "L'italiana in Algeri." In 2023, she appears as a regular soloist with Northern Ireland Opera, collaborating with the Ulster Orchestra and Belfast Philharmonic Choir.
