Multi-award winning Amy Green is one of the UK’s leading classical saxophonists. Since graduating from the Royal College of Music where she was awarded the Tagore Gold Medal, she has performed across the globe in a variety of orchestral, solo, and chamber music settings. Amy is the soprano saxophonist in the Laefer Quartet and saxophonist in Riot Ensemble. Solo performances include the Royal Festival Hall, Cadogan Hall, and St John’s Smith Square, and her orchestral work includes the London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, English National Opera, English Touring Opera, Rambert Dance Company, London Sinfonietta, and the Michael Nyman Band. Amy is the saxophone teacher at the Purcell School of Music and has given masterclasses and workshops at the Royal Academy of Music, Leeds College of Music, and Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. www.amygreensax.com
