Birmingham born Abigail studied at RBC in Birmingham, graduating with a first class honours degree, continuing her studies at the RSC in Glasgow. Traditional roles include Pamina The Magic Flute (OperaUpClose), Susanna The Marriage of Figaro and Despina Così fan tutte (both English Touring Opera)

Abigail enjoys highlighting the works of composers of African and Caribbean backgrounds. She has performed many one woman operas by composer Shirley Thompson OBE including Sacred Mountain for the Tête-à-Tête festival and Women of the Windrush.

Abigail has directed for ETO, Birmingham Opera Company and Turtle Opera. She was recently festival director for Streetwise Opera’s Re:Discover Festival 2023 - 2024.
