Big Give Christmas Challenge 2024
Support our new opera for SEND audiences!
Between 3-10 December 2024, English Touring Opera are participating in The Big Give Christmas Challenge, a match-funded campaign which will see every donation doubled in support of our Autumn 2025 opera for audiences with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Co-created with and for audiences with SEND, and informed by a greater understanding of our audiences' specific needs, interests and experiences, our Autumn 2025 SEND opera will allow young people to discover, participate in and enjoy opera. By donating to the Christmas Challenge campaign, you will help to remove the barriers that prevent children from accessing creative experiences and offer them exciting, sensory experiences of music and drama.
Written by Maisie Newman and the students at Phoenix School (East London) and composed by Noah Mosley (The Firebird, The Wish Gatherer), ETO will perform to over 1,800 children across the country next Autumn, in what may be their first experience of live music. Help us to change a child’s life through opera, this Christmas.
