Simon Dyer
Simon Dyer graduated in 2013 with a BMus in voice. Following this, he did postgraduate studies at the Boston Conservatory. Professional operatic credits include roles with Boston Lyric Opera, Odyssey Opera, Glimmerglass Festival, Santa Fe Opera, and Florida Grand Opera, where he is a studio artist for both the 17/18 and 18/19 seasons and will be singing Colline (La bohème), Antonio (Le nozze di Figaro) and Calavera (Frida). At the Boston Conservatory, he appeared as a lead in operas including L’italiana in Algeri, The Rape of Lucretia, Dark Sisters, Alcina and The Rake’s Progress. Simon is involved with chamber music organisation Illuminarts and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and his contemporary music highlights include being a featured soloist in Coro by Berio at the Lucerne Festival and curating an immersive performance of John Cage’s Song Books at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston (2016).
