Rachel Redmond
Rachel Redmond studied at the Royal Scottish Conservatoire and the GSMD. As a member of the prestigious Jardin des Voix, she performed in a series of concerts under the direction of William Christie and at his subsequent invitation made her début at the Opera Comique, Paris, as Iris in Lully’s Atys. She returned to the Opéra Comique to perform Irene Léontine and Flore Les festes vénitiennes with Les Arts Florissants, followed by her début at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris as Loena La belle Hélène. Rachel Redmond’s forthcoming engagements include Second Woman Dido and Aeneas at the Aix-en-Provence Festival.
