Peter Brathwaite
Peter Brathwaite read Philosophy and Fine Art at Newcastle University, graduating with a first class honors degree. He went on to study with the International Opera School at the Royal College of Music and subsequently Flanders Opera Studio, Ghent. He has sung with a companies including Glyndebourne Festival, ETO, Opera Holland Park, Edinburgh International Festival, Tête-à-tête Festival, British Youth Opera, Nederlandse Reisopera and Opéra National de Lyon and roles including Guglielmo Cosi fan tutte, Marcello La Boheme, Papageno Die Zauberflöte, Nelson Porgy & Bess and Demetrius A Midsummer Night's Dream. He has also sung in numerous world premieres including Emanuel in the award-winning operatic adaptation of Marina Lewycka's novel Two Caravans
