Masimba Ushe trained at the Royal Academy of Music and made his debut in the bass chorus of Porgy and Bess at Grange Park Opera and joined English Touring Opera for the Spring 2023 season performing in Lucrezia Borgia, Il viaggio a Reims and The Wish Gatherer.

His other roles include Sarastro The Magic Flute (Uppermill Festival & King’s Opera), Alcade La forza del Destino (Regents Opera) and Superintendent Budd Albert Herring (Saint Paul’s Opera) and bass chorus in ThePirates of Penzance, Iolanthe and Utopia, Limited (National Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company).

He enjoys voice acting and can be heard on the most recent Warhammer videogame.
