Margo Arsane
French mezzo-soprano Margo Arsane started her musical journey with the violin in Lyon, then pursuing her vocal training at the CNSMD Lyon, the Hochschule für Musik Munich, the Opera Course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and the National Opera Studio in London, and as an Emerging Artist and a member of the Studio de l’Opéra de Lyon in the 2020/21 season.
In 2022/23, Margo makes her debut at Opéra National de Lorraine as Sméraldine and Linette L’amour des trois oranges by Prokofiev, and with English Touring Opera as Sesto Giulio Cesare.
As an Emerging Artist at Scottish Opera, Margo performed DORABELLA in a filmed production of Cosi fan tutte, covered HANSEL Hansel and Gretel and MEG PAGE Falstaff, and recorded Chausson’s Poème de l’amour et de la mer with the Scottish Opera Orchestra.
Recent and future engagements include L’enfant L’enfant et les sortilèges (Landestheater Coburg); Icarus Raising Icarus (Barber Institute Birmingham); Lisetta Il mondo della Luna (Bampton Opera); Rosina Il barbiere di Siviglia (Scherzo Ensemble), cover Sesto Giulio Cesare in Egitto (Opera North); Climene and Premier Amour Les amants magnifiques (Le Concert Spirituel); Cherubino Le nozze di Figaro (Dartington Festival); cover Mélisande Pelléas et Mélisande (Garsington Opera); Concepcion L’heure espagnole (Festival Pentecote en Berry).
