Luke D Williams
Luke Williams is the Levesley Scholar on the RCMIOS under Russell Smythe. Born in Bath, he started an unconventional journey towards an operatic career by training and working as a nurse. His principal roles include Puck A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Bobinet La Vie Parisienne (RCM), title role Eugene Onegin (Suffolk Opera), Sid Albert Herring & Demetrius A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Co-Opera Company), Title role Imeneo (LHF ), and Papageno The Magic Flute(Ryedale & Grimeborn Festivals). Luke has also performed lieder recitals and solos in Brahms’ Requiem, Handel'sMessiah, Vaughan Williams' Five Mystical Songs. He is delighted to become a Samling Scholar in 2014.
