Katy began singing as a chorister at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Edinburgh, at the age of eight. She is currently studying with
Janis Kelly for a Masters in Vocal Performance at the RCM. Katy graduated from Durham University with a First Class Honours Degree in 2012. She was awarded 2nd place in the Patricia Routledge National English Song Competition (May 2017). Recent performance highlights include: Chorus Tosca (Nevill Holt Opera), soprano soloist (WNO), and NEW Sinfonia performance of Bach’s Magnificat and Tarney’s Magnificat at North Wales International Music Festival.
