Holly Mathieson is an award-winning musician, whose work spans opera, ballet and symphonic concerts. In recent seasons she has worked with the LSO, Philharmonia Orchestra, BBC orchestras, RLPO, Opera North, Scottish Opera, Opera New Zealand, ETO Ulster Orchestra and Symphony Nova Scotia, as well as return appearances with the Auckland Philharmonia, SCO, Southbank Sinfonia, Scottish Ballet and Northern Ballet. Summer 2018 saw the launch of the Nevis Ensemble, of which she is co-Artistic Director, a project founded on the maxim that "music is for everyone, everywhere", and which takes music out of the concert hall, into isolated and marginalised communities.
