Frederick Long
Frederick received a DipRAM from the Royal Academy of Music and furthered his training at the National Opera Studio. Previous ETO performances of the wizard Isménor in Dardanus, and the Sorceress in Dido and Aeneas were met with widespread critical acclaim. We will now discover whether supernatural powers were fundamental to this recent success on stage.
Having begun his career at Glyndebourne as the Lackey in Ariadne auf Naxos, Frederick has since been invited to perform and cover major roles all over the UK, including English National Opera (Figaro), Opera Holland Park (Schaunard), Glyndebourne Festival (Saul), Mid-Wales Opera (Papageno) and Covent Garden (Ivan Ivanovitch in The Noseby Shostakovich).
