Eleanor Ross
Eleanor trained as an oboist at the RCM and the Norwegian Academy of Music, and then as a singer with Dennis O’Neill at the Wales International Academy of Voice. She was an OperaWorks artist at English National Opera, and now studies with Neil Baker. Notable engagements include the Villa-Lobos 'Bachianas Brasileiras No.5' at Cadogan Hall, Vivaldi's 'Gloria' at St John's Smith Square, Dalinda (cover) in Handel's Ariodante for the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence, and Konstanze in Mozart's Die Entfuhrung for Pop Up Opera. Aside from singing, Eleanor's passion is dressmaking and she can often be found knitting or sewing in rehearsal breaks!
