Benjamin Bevan won a scholarship to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Operatic highlights include Henry Cuffe in Britten’s Gloriana and Der SprecherDieZauberflöte for the Royal Opera House, LescautBoulevard Solitude for the Royal Danish Opera and for Welsh National Opera, FerrymanCurlew River for Opéra de Dijon, and MoralesCarmen, Riccardo I Puritani, MarcelloLa Bohème, and LescautManon for Scottish Opera. He has worked with Garsington Opera, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Longborough Festival Opera, Lausanne Opera, and at Aix-en-Provence. This season he makes his debut at English National Opera. Concert work includes performances with Bach Collegium Japan, the RLPO, the BBC Philharmonic, the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.
