Supporting our Young Artist Programme

Supporting our Young Artist Programme

Each year, ETO supports talented young singers, directors, designers, conductors and composers, helping them reach the next stage in their career.

ETO’s Young Artist Programme helps us provide additional coaching for our artists, beyond the training they receive through rehearsals and performances. This includes offering vocal coaching and movement training, creating opportunities for artists to shadow our creative teams and providing performance opportunities for young singers to showcase their talent.

We also help nurture aspiring artists. We work closely with the Royal College of Music to offer their students professional experience, and offer masterclasses to students at universities across the country.

Whether you are able to donate £10 or £10,000, we guarantee that every pound of your support will work extremely hard to provide young artists with high quality training which will benefit them for the rest of their careers.

Supporting ETO’s Young Artist Programme in your Will

Once you have looked after your loved ones, leaving a gift in your Will is a fantastic way to support your favourite charities.

For young artists wishing to pursue a career in opera, there is often a shortage of opportunities to gain professional experience in the UK. Each year, ETO works with a large number of talented young singers, directors, designers, conductors and composers, helping them reach the next stage in their career.

It also enables us to work closely with the Royal College of Music, offering students professional experience and the opportunity to learn from our artists.

By supporting our Young Artist Programme in your Will, you will be benefiting artists for the rest of their careers, whilst ensuring the high quality of ETO’s productions for many years to come.

There are many ways you can do this, including:

  • Supporting an annual masterclass for singers
  • Offering an annual bursary for an artist
  • Sponsoring all of our Young Artist training for a year

However you choose to support us in your Will, we would like to talk to you about your wishes, to ensure your legacy provides a fitting tribute. We also want to make sure you are properly thanked, and that your gift is remembered for many years to come.

Why not take a moment to think about you would support Young Artists, if you were leaving a gift to ETO. Would it be for singers, directors, designers or conductors? Would you give your support for one year, or spread your support over a number of years? How would you like your support to be credited? We would love to hear your ideas.
