Rehearsals Begin
Giulio Cesare and Così fan tutte rehearsals begin at Toynbee Studios in Spitalfields, London. To better understand the creative process of staging a professional opera, we will invite syndicate supporters to observe a rehearsal session during the process.

James Conway will share his ideas behind Giulio Cesare and the cultural context in which the opera was written. Well known for his passion for the composer, James will talk syndicate supporters through his relationship with Handel’s work during his time with ETO. The talk will be illustrated with performances of Handel’s work.
