Individual Support

Introduction

The support English Touring Opera receives from Individual Donors makes a crucial difference to the realisation of our ambitious programme and general running of the company.

Becoming an Individual Supporter is an ideal opportunity to build a close relationship with UK’s leading touring opera company, and there are several different ways you can get involved.

  • ETO Membership scheme supports the overall running of the company.
  • Production syndicate helps us realise a specific production
  • ETO Singers Bursary supports the development of an emerging artist

Other ways to get involved:

  • ETO’s Education Outreach Programme has several opportunities for support, and is a great way to help us introduce future generations to the world of opera.
  • Remember ETO in your will – make opera a part of your legacy.
Leaving a legacy to English Touring Opera is a truly lasting gift, and a wonderful way of ensuring the future of the company.

If you would like a personal connection with a production and a special insight into the staging process, ETO’s production syndicate is the perfect way to become involved. Members are given unique opportunities to be closely related with a production from the early development stages through to the opening night, including: invitation to join the creative team for the model box showing, join the meet & greet with the singers and orchestra, special events and invitation to opening night.

Join our Autumn 2010 production syndicate and become part of very special British Season.

Our next syndicate is in support of The Duenna by Thomas Linley Sr & Jr with a libretto by Richard Brinsley Sheridan, part of our 2010 Autumn Season.

Singers Bursary

Support an Emerging Singer

English Touring Opera is committed to the further development and nurturing of emerging talent. Every tour offers unique opportunities for younger singers to work with and learn from established artists.

The recipient will receive voice lessons, mentoring and a free demo recording.

If you are passionate about supporting artists, this is the ideal opportunity to make a real difference for a singer in the early stages of their career.

English Touring Opera would like to thank Chris Ball as the founding donor of the ETO Singers Bursary.
