Red Riding Hood

Red Riding Hood was a short piece for players and actors based on the famous story, and written for younger children as an engaging introduction to orchestral instruments.

For younger children in 2008 we toured a fantastic version of Red Riding Hood by composer Tom Smail and writer Emma House. Written for 10 players and 3 singer-actors it travelled to 11 venues and schools across the country, from Truro in the west to Perth in Scotland. The piece was designed for children aged 3-7, and was a great introduction to the instruments of the orchestra as well as an engaging retelling of the story.
