ETO is collaborating once more with the staff and students at John Chilton School in Ealing to create a new opera in the summer term of 2012.

The opera is called Thief in the Night and will be created with the students themselves, all of whom have physical disabilities.Ten workshop sessions will lead to a performance on June 20th for friends and families.

The ETO team includes tenor Edward Lee, and players Rebecca Hewes and Steve Burnett, as well as composer Russell Hepplewhite (The Feathered Ogre) and designer Anna Michaels.

John Chilton School hosted a similar project with ETO a year ago, and both projects have been made possible through the generosity of John Lyon’s Charity. We are delighted to be back, and to be working alongside the school’s inspired staff and vibrant students.
