New Titania cast for Midsummer Night's Dream

20th January 2010

We’re pleased to announce that Gillian Ramm will be singing the role of Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream this Spring. Born in Australia, Gillian is fast emerging as one of the most exciting and versatile young sopranos on the British operatic scene, and will also be appearing in Promised End in Autumn. Gillian was recently cast in place of Claire Ormshaw who unfortunately had to withdraw from the tour for personal reasons.

Claire was also due to sing the role of Susannah for some performances of The Marriage of Figaro, and Paula Sides will be taking on this role instead. ETO has enjoyed working with Paula in the past, most recently in Handelfest.
