Don Pasquale: the making of a new production

5th February 2010

Have you ever wondered how on earth a whole opera is put together?

This season’s Don Pasquale is a brand new production with some innovative features: Don Pasquale is a conductor, advised by his agent, Malatesta, and in love with Norina, a budding opera star. A brand new production requires a new set to be designed and built from scratch, alongside new costumes, and we in the office are excited by what we’ve seen so far. We want to share this excitement with you, so in the run up to our opening night, we’ll use our website to give you unique glimpses into the making of Don Pasquale.

In the coming few weeks, expect interviews and photo diaries documenting the creative process, and even some beautiful costume drawings by our designer.
